Each monthly outreach program begins with a thirty minute performance of music related to the theme followed by an activity to raise awareness of the issue. This month's theme will be Freedom of Expression. In honor of Thomas Jefferson's birthday, participants are free to build imaginative structures using snap bricks. Music by Mozart whose works were banned, Sibelius whose works were considered part of the revolution against Russia, and Rimsky-Korsakov who was exiled for writing anti-Russian music and American composer Macdowell.
